So the other day I was having a conversation
with my mother and sister about why you shouldn’t wear white after Labor Day,
because honestly it didn’t quite make sense to me. Most people should know
about this fashion rule about not wearing white after Labor Day. So as confused
as I was I decided to do a little research. I found out that the only reason
this particular rule exist is, because white is more of a Spring/Summer color
rather than a Fall/Winter color. I guess that makes sense.
So for
all those people who are like me and don’t like being told when you can and can’t
wear a certain color, I’m going to give you a few things you should consider if
or when decide to wear white this Fall/Winter.
1.
Instead of wearing the bright spring/summer
white, switch to a winter white. This is probably a shade darker than a regular
white.
2.
Wear your white with layers. (EX. Blue top with
a white camisole)
3.
Avoid wear white shoes.
To be honest it’s really up to you
as to how you wear your “winter” white. Just make sure you don’t necessarily decide
to wear ALL white. Remember how ever you decide to wear white, give it your own
FLAIR and you can’t go wrong.
